FAMILY PLAY IN THE PARK DAY Family Play in the Park Day is Saturday, September 27, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the beautiful Camden Park, 2951 Wilcrest Dr. Grab everyone you know and join your Grace family for a day full of fun games, crafts, and a lemonade station. Grace will be hosting a ping pong tournament that anyone 11 and up can sign up to play (featuring our reigning champion, Liz Kay)! The entire family is invited to come chill and have fun—maybe with some people we don’t know yet!

GRACE MEN’S LIFE LUNCH Wednesday | September 24 | 11:30 a.m. | MT Fellowship Hall Men, join us at Grace’s intergenerational men’s lunch meeting, Grace Men’s Life. Men’s Life intends to bring together—in a relaxed, inviting, and engaging setting—men at various stages of their spiritual and chronological journey. The friendly and non-threatening interaction of men of all ages will produce meaningful relationships for decades to come! Bring a friend or co-worker, son, nephew, or neighbor to enjoy lunch, fellowship, and a great message. Lunches are held the fourth Wednesday of the each month. Please let us know you are coming and register HERE. Our guest for the September lunch will be Terry Looper. Terry is the author of Sacred Pace - Four Steps To Hearing God And Aligning Yourself With His Will. With a deep passion for discipleship and liberating souls, Terry has dedicated his life to guiding others in their spiritual journeys. He has served on several nonprofit boards, most recently with Young Life. Terry was the founder and CEO of Texon LP, a midstream energy company, which he led for 35 years until its recent sale. He and his wife, Doris, have two married daughters and five grandchildren.

SATURDAY SERVE October 25: Helping Hands for Our Grace Family Do you have a small project around the house or yard that could use an extra pair of hands? Maybe some light repairs, technology help, moving boxes, or yardwork? Our Saturday Serve team is coming together this October to support Covenant Partners who may need an extra hand around the house! We have a team eager to help with those "odd jobs" that can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for our more senior Covenant Partners. Through this ministry, we hope to share Christ's love in practical ways, strengthen relationships across generations, and remind one another that no one in our Grace Family is alone. Whether it's helping with lawn work or doing some painting, we are ready to lend a hand. If you have a need or want to help out, please contact Kristy Elmore. Our team will be coming out on Saturday, October 25. Let's come together as a church family to serve one another in love!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing! At Grace, we believe in the power of community, sharing life and growing in Christ together. And if we can have fun doing it, that's even better! On September 5, 60 Grace Family members gathered to enjoy some supper, some fellowship, and to welcome our new Equipping Pastor, John Pflug; his wife, Brittany; and their children, Emma, Kilaeah, and Zayne. Sharing our everyday lives is something we value highly, and we are excited to be sharing life with the Pflugs!

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES GRACE CAST PODCAST Have you entered the world of podcasts yet? A podcast is a digital audio (or video) program that users can download or stream over the internet to listen to on a personal device at their convenience. Grace has launched our very first venture into podcasting: Grace Cast. Grace Cast is available twice a month and includes discussions from our pastors, ministry leaders, and all generations of our congregation. They will come together to share their thoughts, insights, tough questions, and summaries on our scripture readings. The format is light and conversational. It is available now on our YouTube channel. EPIC COURSE Continuing his Sunday, The Bible in a Year class will begin to meet. This class will meet together each week to discuss what we’ve been reading and support each other as we practice the daily reading of scripture together. We will be using videos and other resources from the BibleProject, and the class will be a discussion-based format facilitated by Grace pastors and staff. Let us know you are coming to the class by registering HERE. HERE you will find a multitude of resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!

The Bible in a Year continues this Sunday. We are basing the sermon series on the passages we are currently reading, this week looking into Exodus 3:1-8. It will be another exciting Sunday: during worship we will have a Children at the Chancel time, hear a Story of Grace, and a quick recap of the recent recovery trip to San Angelo.
