  1. SPECIAL EASTER OPPORTUNITIES
  2. JOIN YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND PARTICIPATE IN THESE EASTER ACTIVITIES!

    EASTER PRAYER VIGIL
Grace Presbyterian Church invites all covenant partners and friends in our community to join our Easter Prayer Vigil from 5 p.m. on Good Friday through 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday. This 36-hour vigil is a sacred opportunity for our church body to prepare our hearts together for the joy of Easter morning. As we remember Christ’s death and anticipate His resurrection, we believe prayer unites us as one body and centers us on the hope we proclaim.

You are invited to sign up for a 20-minute prayer slot during this time. You may pray wherever you feel most led — at home, in the sanctuary, outdoors, or with family and friends. Whether alone or with others, your prayers matter and strengthen our shared witness. Sign up for your slot HERE.

This Prayer Guide offers simple ideas to help focus your time, but you are free to pray as you feel led. Thank you for joining us in this meaningful tradition.

    LILY DEDICATIONS
In celebration of Easter, please consider dedicating an Easter lily to remember or honor someone you love. Dedications will be accepted through Monday, March 30 and may be made HERE.

Flowers you have dedicated will be available to pick up after the 11 a.m. service on Easter Sunday, April 5.

    GRACE'S GREATEST BAKER
Whether you want to try out a new recipe, or you have a tried and true, passed-down-from-generation one, we would love to enjoy your delicious treats on Easter morning! But only one will be named Grace's Greatest Baker!
Stop by the Welcome Center on Sundays and pick up a platter, a judge's plate, and an entry tag. On Saturday, April 4, place a sample of your entry on the judge's plate with the entry tag taped to the bottom and place the rest of your treats on the platter for the congregation to enjoy. Bring both the platter and plate on Saturday from 1-5 p.m. to the kitchen in Massey-Tucker Fellowship Hall to be served on Easter morning. Please make sure to put the entry tag on the judge's platter you are bringing, so we know who to celebrate when you win! Register HERE!

    OUTREACH FOUNDATION INFORMATIONAL LUNCH
We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us for a life-changing mission trip to serve alongside the people of Kenya. Through our partnership with The Outreach Foundation and Stu Ross, Grace has helped build and dedicate more than 35 churches and girls’ schools over the years. This year will be no different. The Lord continues to work in powerful ways in Kenya, where the Presbyterian Church is growing rapidly. Stu Ross has faithfully served in Kenya for more than 30 years and will be visiting Houston to lead an informational meeting on March 29 at 12:30 p.m. A light lunch will be provided. To register for the meeting or to learn more, please contact Kristy Elmore at kelmore@gpch.org.

During this trip, our team will help complete the construction of a new church and a school for girls. The journey will conclude with a couple of days on safari as we celebrate all that God is doing in this remarkable place.

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

Student Sunday, including the Lunch is Served fundraiser, was February 22.  Following the service which featured the middle school and high school students leading us in worship, the family of Grace stayed for lunch and through a silent auction, raffles, and games, raising funds for student mission trips. It was a beautiful celebration of the way God is moving in our student ministries, and how the entire congregation is supporting them. To that end, we now have a total figure of how much was raised that day. Because of your generosity, Student Ministries has been blessed with $43,857.26 to offset the cost of this summer's student mission trips! The lower cost will allow more students to participate in this life-changing experience. Thank you Grace family!
