  1. VBS KICK OFF PARTY
  2. This Sunday, we will have a special moment of prayer during worship to lift up all the lives that Vacation Bible School will touch this year. It's going to be an exciting week, and we would like to cover every aspect of it with prayer, so plan to be in worship this Sunday at 9:30 a.m.!

Then, join us for a VBS Kick-Off Party on Sunday, June 7, from 2-5:30 p.m. in the Courtyard and the Sanctuary! We'll have lots of fun activities, snow cones, and popsicles before we gather in the Sanctuary for a sneak peek at what we'll be learning during VBS. We will end the night with a family mission project in Massey-Tucker Hall packing meals, just like our Intersect kids will be doing during the week. Tickets are $5 per person (children under 4 are free)..We can't wait to see you there! Register HERE!

  3. SUMMER EVENT DIGEST
  4. Summers are always a busy time for all of us, and it is easy to miss some of the many opportunities to share life that Grace has to offer. If you are looking for ways to pray over the ministries of the church or simply want to know what's happening in the life of Grace, grab an EVENT DIGEST and get plugged in. There are so many things to be a part of--Bible studies and classes, retreats, mission trips, and other opportunities to serve--ways to live life in community as we share the gospel and share our lives. Summer 2026 Digests may be found throughout the lobby and Welcome Center--pick one up and be ready for the spring months! Or check it out online HERE.

  5. UPCOMING MISSION OPPORTUNITIES
  6. Living Water International Mission Trip October 4–10 | Dominican Republic
Join us in October for a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in partnership with Living Water International. Led by Amy Wisniewski, our team will help bring clean water to remote communities by supporting new well installations—connecting water lines to homes and schools through the WASH program. Along the way, you’ll build meaningful relationships with local residents and experience a week of service, connection, and lasting impact. Cost is $2,500–$3,000 (partial scholarships are available). To learn more, contact Amy at amywisniewski28@yahoo.com or Kristy Elmore at kelmore@gpch.org. You may get involved by praying for the team and ministry, serving by joining the trip, or supporting the mission through financial sponsorship if you’re unable to travel.

    North Carolina | April 2027
Prayerfully consider joining your Grace Family members in April 2027 for a Disaster Response trip to North Carolina, where the team will assist families still rebuilding from the 2024 devastation of Hurricane Helene. This will be an opportunity to come alongside families in need—offering practical support, encouragement, and the hope of Christ through presence and service. While the exact cost will be finalized in August, it is estimated to be approximately $500. For more details or to express interest, please contact Michael Dummer (mdoemar@gmail.com) or Kristy Elmore (kelmore@gpch.org). You can get involved by joining the mission team, providing financial sponsorship if you are unable to travel, or praying for the families, the leadership, and the work of World Renew.

Outreach Foundation Kenya Mission Trip | North Central Kenya (outside of Nairobi)
    Postponed until Summer 2027

Join your Grace friends and family for a mission trip to Kenya in August. In partnership with The Outreach Foundation and Stu Ross, our church has helped build more than 35 churches and girls’ schools—and this year, our team will continue that work by helping complete and dedicate a new church and girls’ school near Nairobi. Led by John Pflug and Ted Teinert, the trip also includes a safari as we celebrate what God is doing in this growing community of faith. Details and costs may change before next summer, but if you are interested, contact Kristy Elmore at kelmore@gpch.org. You can get involved by praying for the team and partners, serving by joining the trip, or supporting the mission through financial sponsorship.

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit—We celebrate what God is doing!

The Women of Grace recently celebrated a beautiful afternoon of fellowship at their annual End-of-Year Luncheon. The event space was filled with warmth and creativity, featuring tables that were each uniquely and beautifully decorated by the group's members. Attendees enjoyed a joyful sing-along led by Ivy Castle Simpson, followed by an inspiring presentation from Michelle Hoevker, Regional Director of the Presbyterian Children’s Home and Services (PCHAS), who spoke about the vital services they provide to families in crisis. To conclude the memorable gathering, Women of Grace Coordinator Annie Golden announced the leadership team for the upcoming year, capping off a successful season of community and ministry.

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES

We are underway in the New Testament. If you are just joining us, or if you have lost steam, this is a perfect place to start up! The complete summer reading plan is available in the church lobby and online HERE. You can do this! Whatever your situation, nothing will benefit you more than diving deeply into God's transforming Word.

HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!
