- CHURCH OFFICER NOMINATIONS DUE TOMORROW!
Each year at Grace, we nominate fellow covenant partners (members) to serve in leadership as elders and deacons. This year's class of new leaders will serve a three-year commitment beginning January 1, 2027.
Grace, an ECO (A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians) congregation, is governed by the Session, which is composed of elders. The deacons provide care ministries to the congregation. Both elders and deacons are vital to the health of the congregation. These positions require different skills, talents, and gifts. Each has unique duties and requires different energies. Both deacons and elders are required to adhere to the ECO Essential Tenets.
You'll find more information and the nomination forms online HERE. The deadline is TOMORROW, Friday, May 15. Paper ballots will also be available outside the Sanctuary doors. Completed ballots may be returned to the Connections Table, located in the Welcome Center lobby.
- GRACE CAST
Grace's podcast--Grace Cast--is available once a month! Grace Cast includes discussions from our pastors, ministry leaders and all generations of our congregation coming together to share their thoughts, insights, tough questions and summaries on our scripture readings. The format is light and conversational. It is available HERE, and on our YouTube channel. This month, Traci Baudin and Nnenna Akwari talk about how to have difficult conversations as Christians—approaching conflict with humility, truth, and love. Whether it’s with family, friends, or within the church, this episode offers practical wisdom rooted in the gospel. Check it out!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK
We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit—We celebrate what God is doing! Family Park Day at the Walnut Bend Recreation Center on Friday, April 24, was a big success! From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the air was filled with laughter and energy as Children’s Ministry families, friends and neighbors, gathered for a fantastic night of connection. Between the great food and high-energy games, it was a wonderful opportunity for young families to bond and enjoy quality time together in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES
The New Testament is here! On May 8, the reading plan has us jumping into the Gospel of Matthew. The complete summer reading plan is available in the church lobby and online HERE. You can do this! Or if you have lost steam, this is a perfect place to start up. Whatever your situation, nothing will benefit you more than diving deeply into God's transforming Word. HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!
WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
